It's all about family
Over 40 years of experience.
Symphony Group is a Canadian owned and operated, Georgia Award winning, real estate developer who has acquired, developed and marketed both single and multifamily projects in the Lower Mainland over the past 40 years.
Over 50 years ago, Gurmel Kainth began his journey as a Canadian immigrant in 1969, where he initially worked as a miner for Cominco Mines. Shortly thereafter, Gurmel continued to advance his career and found work with the Government. Gurmel worked in the Transportation & Highways department, where he stayed on as a committed employee for over 32 years.
While working a his full-time job, Gurmel quietly began building homes outside of work. This was the start of Symphony Homes.
Gurdeep Kainth, Gurmel’s son, is the acting Managing Director of Symphony Homes. Gurdeep’s experience in real-estate spans back to the 80’s while shadowing his father on the family’s early real-estate projects.
Since 2006, Gurdeep has continued to elevate the Kainth family legacy into becoming a leader in both quality of construction and design. He has successfully demonstrated this by winning several awards. Since 2012, Symphony Homes has received 11 Georgie Awards, 3 Ovation Awards & 1 National Award.
Gurdeep has also successfully transitioned the operations of the business from building single family homes to multi-family developments, specifically wood frame townhouses.
